Task Flows

Describe the process of making the user flows.

Once the user flow, customer journey map, and top-level architecture documents were all complete, it was fairly simple to make the task flows. I outlined four major tasks that I felt were the most important. For example, the task of signing up is vital because that's how users will join the brand. Turning in assignments is crucial as well in order to pass. The company's goal is to help students, so making an appointment with an advisor is necessary. Lastly, signing up for Demo Day is important because it is an opportunity to show a finished game to future employers.

Describe anything new or interesting you learned in this process.

When I was creating the task flows, I came across some considerations, such as whether or not I should add a video call interface to the website. If so, I'm not sure where to put it quite yet. I will need to ask some research participants for their opinion. Otherwise, users would rely on a third-party app like Zoom.
