Finalize Deliverables

Describe what you did.

I refined the DS chart by adding specificity to the deliverables, adjusted my storyboards to have less writing, and created two visual directions for the thesis proposal video. The slides will have simple animations, which I wrote as captions under the keyframes. The script will be a voiceover.

Describe what was successful.

I rewrote the first insight in a way that caters to women rather than the general public who may not know how to make games. My research shows that women are more comfortable in all-female environments. Therefore, creating a program for only women was a viable option. The second and third insights were mostly successful, so I refined the deliverables by outlining what is included.

Describe what was unsuccessful and could be improved.

I explained what each deliverable consists of, such as the number of pages or where the piece is located. But these pieces may still need more detail, or even less detail, depending on feedback.

Describe anything new or interesting you learned.

Women who work in all-female environments will face less discrimination and will have more courage to speak up and help one another. They describe these environments as pleasant and nurturing. This inspired the insight that a women-only program will likely lead to more creativity and growth.
