Final Presentation Materials

Describe what you did.

I refined my materials matrix according to feedback. This meant that I also had to change the script for the video, so I recorded these new lines. I also refined some graphics in the video, specifically the line graphic, so that it tied more to gaming. The idea was inspired by an experience/loading bar. Additionally, there was a slide where I added some keywords to keep the frame from appearing too stale.

Describe what was successful.

Overall, I believe the visual direction of the video is consistent and matches the document. Most of the video's content was successful as well.

Describe what was unsuccessful and could be improved.

I would have liked to have added more motion to the video, like changing the way words appeared on screen, etc. But due to time constraints, I had to prioritize the changes that were necessary.

Describe anything new or interesting you learned.

When it comes to physical gaming magazines, the view is quite split on whether or not they are wanted anymore. On one hand, people want to subscribe but claim there are no good magazines out. On the other hand, some people argue that physical magazines are a dying medium. While I initially thought that a physical magazine might appeal to those who miss physical content, I ultimately decided to switch to a digital one as people who are into games are likely to want to consume digital media.
