Describe what you did.

I applied the feedback I received from peers and instructors in order to refine my materials matrix and rough cut video. Specifically, I added point values to the materials matrix after choosing the most viable deliverables.

Describe what was successful.

I had the content that was required for the video. I also have more than enough points for the thesis proposal.

Describe what was unsuccessful and could be improved.

The rough cut was over the time limit, so I improved it by condensing the script. Also, the video was more like a slideshow than a presentation, so I improved it by adding motion effects for more engagement.

Describe anything new or interesting you learned.

I had to learn some basic skills necessary to use After Effects, though I still feel like I've only scratched the surface. I tried to learn about ways to make the preview in the program work faster, though these methods still need some testing. I also tried to research how to make a video render faster, and while I have the recommended settings, patience is still necessary.
